Become an Approved ESITS Instructor
To become an approved ESITS Instructor, applicants must demonstrate industry experience, relevant qualifications, and a commitment to maintaining high training standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be registered on the ESITS Instructor Database.
- Have at least 5 years' experience within the events industry.
- Hold, or be working towards, a recognised teaching or instructional qualification.
- Hold a valid Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work certificate.
- Complete the required course shadowing and assessment process at an ESITS Accredited Centre.
- Be affiliated with an ESITS Accredited Centre, which must submit your application on your behalf.

Important Information
- Instructor applications must be submitted by an ESITS Accredited Centre.
- Instructors cannot deliver ESITS courses until registration has been approved and an Instructor Registration Number has been issued.
- Instructor registrations are specific to the Accredited Centre where they are registered and are not transferable between centres.
- A completed Instructor Application Form must be submitted as part of the registration process, along with all required supporting documentation, including qualifications, shadowing records, and assessment reports. The application form is available to download below.
